Transport in Redbridge

Redbridge has the great advantage of easy access to Central London and the West End, with 10 underground stations on the Central Line and 4 on the overground route to Stratford and Liverpool Street or East to Southend-on-Sea. The Westfield Stratford City Shopping Centre is a 5-minute train ride from Ilford. The journey into Central London takes around 18 minutes. Public transport is varied and efficient, making the area particularly well-suited to commuters travelling into East and Central London on a daily basis. Numerous day and night bus routes run through and within the borough.

For drivers, there are several arterial roads running through the area, including the North Circular Road and the A12. The M11 also allows residents to easily travel towards the commuter area of Bishop’s Stortford.

In addition, Crossrail is primed to arrive here soon, with stops at Chadwell Heath, Goodmayes, Ilford and Seven Kings offering Redbridge residents an even quicker commute than ever before.
